Green-Light for Kelantan: ‘Jom Heboh’ Shock Debut…!

Kelantan government has given its consent for TV3’s ‘Jom Heboh’ carnival to be held in the state on March 26 and 27 subject to several conditions, including that no female singers shall perform at the concert. Among the conditions are that the concert being subject to Entertainment Enactment where it should reflect the entertainment allowed in Islam. Pas Kelantan Government considers Jom Heboh concert organized by TV3 on 26 and 27 of March in the state meet the concept of family, and spiritual health in addition to comply with State of Kelantan Enactment Control Entertainment.

Chairman of Local Government, Tourism and Culture states, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, said the concert was allowed in conjunction with Sultan Kelantan on 30 and 31 March. He said, his own discussions with the Chief Executive Officer of Media Prima Television Networks, Datuk Seri Farid Ridwan and concerts given assurance that no longer fully oriented entertainment. He said, however, Konsert Jom Heboh was seen not only over the expo, family activities and sports, but also satisfy a spiritual element as provide places of worship other than al-hold recordings Kuliyyah, which will be attended Regent Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra Sultan Ismail Petra.

Control spectators who will see the concert in the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium later, Takiyuddin said the state government will make the separation of the three men, women and families. The state government assured there would be problems involving interactions between free men and women when watching the concert because they will later be separated according to their respective parts. No female singer shall be allowed to perform at the concert. Only male singers like M.Nasir, Amy Search and Mawi can perform. Takiyuddin said the decision to allow the carnival to be held in Kelantan this year also proved that the state government did not boycott all forms of entertainment as claimed by certain quarters.

The Kelantanese need alternative entertainment!
